This movie starred Spencer Tracy and Myrna Loy as a detective who follows a woman linked to jewel thieves who stole a group of valuable pearls. That whole section is the best part of the film.
When Loy's confederates steal valuable pearls, Tracy attaches himself to her so she will lead him to the robbers and the pearls. The result is excellent.
With her out of danger, he pulls out his gun, and they all start shooting. The thieves enlist the help of a beautiful woman.
Aug 17, Rating: From 19335, the free encyclopedia. Myrna is so great in this. My top honors go to Ann Sheridan on that score, but with a few more Loy films under my belt, I'll be glad to reconsider. While it probably did not rate as well as later movie roles for Spencer and Myrna, I felt the storyline was still acted very well by the stars. And she does not want him to.
